Chard™ has developed its own RAID system. Files are stored on multiple media in multiple locations to ensure the safety of your precious family memories. Chard™ multi quadrant system is constantly checked for system failure and if any is detected it is repaired immediately not only that, the system is constantly being upgraded so that the Chard™ operating systems never become obsolete.
Chard™ Copy
System
The Chard™ professional copy system uses its own highly sophisticated, high resolution digital capture with professional colour management, perfect for copying photographs.
All files are produced with the latest professional equipment which takes advantage of an extremely high bit depth, dynamic range and file size.
The files are then processed using the latest professional software programs to either make them into archival storage plates or into files compatible with Chard™ reproduction and archival printing.
Reproduction & Archival Printing
Chard’s™ dedication to the preservation of photographic images has naturally led them to only output all their reproduction prints on to archival 100% rag paper (that is rated conservation, museum grade and meets the Fine Art Trade Guild of the U.K. prints specifications for image permanence) and archival pigmented inks.
Chard™ Education Program
Chard™ conducts a number of seminars and workshops throughout the year and also offers DIY advice.
Conservation Framing
